Great job! Look at it shine!!!
Blake Cormier -
Blake graduated in
2009 from a high school here in the Shenandoah Valley. He
loves computers and software. Blake has a wide variety of experience in the
technical field. He designs, builds, and maintains
websites. If fact, he gave me a lot of pointers on
this website. He is an Information Technology
Specialist (ITS) at
OFM Computer Systems, Inc.
in Charlottesville, Virginia. He also
volunteers as a minister with a local American Sign
Language (ASL) group in Staunton, Virginia. On
August 19, Blake will go to Brooklyn, New York and
volunteer at the Headquarters of Jehovah's Witnesses as
a minister. He will continue to hone his skills in
ASL. As an Earth Team volunteer, Blake is our
"technical advisor". He has installed software on
our laptop computer and updates it for virus protection
periodically.
He has taught us how to
use our PDA and digital camcorder.
He is a great addition to our Team.
Kristen Cormier -
Kristen is a senior at a high school here in the
Shenandoah Valley. She has a love of animals and the
environment. Her interests include drawing,
painting, scrap booking, card making, photography, and crafts.
Kristen writes her own songs, plays the guitar and
piano, and sings. She belongs to
the Earth Watch and French Clubs at school. She is
interested in pursuing hairdressing and the ministry in
ASL as a career. As an Earth Team volunteer, Kristen
has helped out in the RC&D office in the summer.
She is an excellent addition to our Team.
